Saved game and settings

Mow’s Meadow stores your progress, Flower Coins, helpers, collected flowers, furnishings and settings on your device. Time information is used for flower freshness, meals and returning helpers. These features do not need your location or contacts.

Local app data remains until you reset it using the available features or remove the app and its data. Depending on your Apple settings, it may be included in a device backup.

iCloud and Game Center

If you are signed in to Game Center and use iCloud Drive, the app can sync your saved game between devices using Apple’s GameKit storage. It stores your saved game and the information needed to reconcile progress. If saved games differ, the more advanced progress is automatically taken into account. You can keep playing locally while offline.

Game Center processes your player identifier, display name and achievement progress. The app sends completed game goals to Apple for this purpose. This information is not passed to Google as an advertising audience. Syncing requires the same Apple and Game Center accounts. Deleting the app on one device does not automatically remove data in iCloud. You can manage Apple’s storage and Game Center settings.

Flower Coins and purchases

Optional Flower Coin packs are purchased through Apple StoreKit. The app verifies signed transactions and stores the transaction identifier, purchased pack, credit status and any refunds to avoid crediting a purchase more than once. This information may form part of your synced saved game. Apple processes payment and billing information; we do not receive credit card details.

Advertising

Mow’s Meadow uses Google AdMob exclusively for Limited Ads, without personalisation or cross-app advertising tracking. The app does not request Apple tracking permission. Neither the IDFA advertising identifier nor Google’s Publisher First-Party ID is used.

Optional ads can unlock a bee, a butterfly swarm or extra moves. Occasional full-screen ads appear between completed rounds. Rewards, daily limits and intervals between ads are checked and stored locally. Flower Coin purchases do not remove ads.

To deliver and display ads, Google may process IP addresses and approximate locations derived from them, technical device and app information, ad impressions and interactions, and diagnostic and performance data. We do not share your Game Center name, saved game or furnishings as an advertising profile. The website itself does not include Google advertising scripts.

Limited Ads

With Limited Ads, personalisation and features requiring local advertising identifiers are disabled. Programmatic Limited Ads are enabled: Google may use cookies and local storage solely to detect invalid traffic and prevent fraud. The advertising SDK and ad content are also installed or cached on your device during normal app use. Google explains the details under Limited Ads.

For the processing of technical data that we initiate to deliver limited advertising, we rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is funding and securely operating the free game. Access to device information without consent takes place only where the legal requirements are met, in particular Section 25(2) of the German TDDDG.

Google: recipients, transfers and retention

For users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland, the Google service provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google and participating advertising partners may also process data outside the EU or EEA, particularly in the USA. Google explains transfer safeguards, such as adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses, in its information on data transfers.

Google’s retention periods for technical advertising data depend on the purpose; we do not set a single period for this data. Local ad and reward settings remain stored until updated or until the app data is removed. Details of processing and retention are available in Google’s Privacy Policy, Google services in apps and on websites and Google’s retention information.

Apple and game features

For saved games, syncing and purchase processing, insofar as personal data is processed under our responsibility, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR provides the legal basis for the features you request. Apple processes data for the App Store, iCloud and Game Center under its own privacy notices. Information about recipients, international processing and your settings is available in Apple’s Privacy Policy. We do not operate our own server for your saved game.

Website data processing

The website and info@appsbymow.com mailbox are hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. Page requests involve technical access data required to serve and secure the website, such as IP address, time, requested address, status code, browser and operating-system information. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, with a legitimate interest in secure, functional hosting. STRATO describes retaining visitor IP addresses for attack detection and prevention for a maximum of seven days; the visitor log files it provides contain anonymized IP/host details. See STRATO’s processing information.

The provided AppsByMow website uses no tracking cookies, advertising or analytics scripts. Images, fonts and scripts are served by the website’s own host. Language follows the page address; no browser language preference is stored for this purpose. Linked external pages are requested when you open their links.

On the AppsByMow parent website, you can dismiss a privacy notice by selecting “Got it”. Only after this click do we save the value true under appsbymow_privacy_notice_dismissed in your browser’s local storage. On later visits, we read this preference to keep the notice hidden as you requested. It contains no visitor identifier, is not sent to us and remains until you clear the website’s browser data. Storage access serves only the dismissal feature you requested (Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG); insofar as personal data is involved, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, with a legitimate interest in respecting this display preference. If browser storage is blocked, the notice can still be dismissed for the current page view. This click does not grant consent to tracking or other services.

Contact by email or phone

When you contact us by email or phone, we process the contact details you provide, the content of your request and any voluntarily attached files to respond. Your phone number may be displayed when you call. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual matters, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is handling your request. STRATO provides the email mailbox. Requests and any related notes are deleted after final handling once no longer needed for follow-up questions, evidence or establishing, exercising or defending legal claims. Statutory retention duties take precedence. Please only provide information needed for your request.

Recipients

International transfers and external links

We use STRATO in Germany to operate this static website. We do not embed external analytics, advertising or social media services that send data to those providers when a page loads. When you contact us, transmission also depends on the email or telephone providers you use. If you open links to Apple, social networks or other websites, their privacy notices apply to your visit; processing outside the EU or EEA may take place. We do not transfer personal app data to our own servers in third countries.
