Opsino · Identify colors

What color is it?

A piece of clothing, a folder or craft paper: to name a color, aim the measurement circle at a patch with an even surface.

A color name instead of numbers

Opsino gives you a color category such as blue, green, brown or rose. It also includes white, black and several shades of gray. There are no RGB values or color codes to interpret.

Choose the area that matters

Tap the circle or Measure. Opsino analyzes several recent camera frames and displays the result as your last measurement. On a patterned object, choose a single-color patch to keep neighboring colors out.

Understand the reading

Lighting and surfaces affect how a color appears to the camera. Guidance helps you know when to hold still, choose another area or try again in better light. The color name remains an estimate.

Frequently asked questions

Does Opsino identify every exact shade?

Opsino assigns a familiar color name to a surface. It does not provide certified RAL, Pantone or print color matches and does not replace professional color measurement.

Does it identify every color in the image?

Each reading concerns the selected measurement area. Aim it at the surface whose color you want to identify.
